Who Can Join?

Retired From a New York Police Department? RPA Goes With You.

Whether retirement has taken you to Florida, the Carolinas, Arizona, or anywhere else, your connection to New York does not end when you leave the state.

Membership in the RPA is open to retired police officers of any rank who served in a police department within New York State.

Today, RPA members live throughout New York and across the country — united by a shared career in New York law enforcement and a shared interest in protecting the retirement they earned.

Where you live now does not determine your eligibility. Where you served does.
